Finally got around to putting my new rims on. SSR Professor SP1 19x8.5 37 offset.

Now it's time to think about suspension. I am thinking height adjustable coilovers, but I want something that can go from stock height to about 1inch drop. Since i'm in Michigan, I want to be able to raise it up in the winter so I'm not plowing the snow. I'd also like to keep the price low. I don't need a fully adjustable setup, would just like to maintain at least stock performance. I originally thought Tein basics, but the max height is still below stock. Oh, also if anyone can tell me if such a setup might rub. I searched and it seems like it should be fine.

Let me know what you think, and if you have any ideas. Thanks.

Anytime you change your ride height you are going to need an alignment. I had mine dropped 1.25" with an immediate alignment and the drop caused the alignment to be thrown off badly.

I'm going to try TiresPlus for alignments since for $149 you get unlimited alignments in something like 3 years. At a performance shop I have already paid for 3 alignments at $109 a pop.. ouch.

Yea, I'm aware of the alignment. I've done suspension work on my other car before, and always got a 4 wheel alignment afterwards. There's a shop near by that does alignments pretty cheap.

I just need to find the right components for the setup that I want.
