Like every sports car, it drinks gas. Your defeating the purpose if you buy a sports car, expect performance AND good gas mileage.
And for the horspower? I could care less if the car is 8hp less than what it was supposed to have. The car still boots!
You will like your car when you get it. Trust me. It's a realy fun drive and you won't get sick of it either.
