The right HID dies yesterday...I brought it to mechanics and they ordered a new bulb from dealer(~$250...) and tried to change it.
After they changed it, STILL the same....

Other bulbs on right side are fine...

Does anyone know what's happening??!?!?!?
Is it the problem of wire harness?!?!?

Thanks

May be the wiring harness. Its definetly electrical if the HID was changed and is still out. That tech has some diagnosing to do. The other bulbs would be fine cause they should be wired in parallel. Most likely an "open" circuit.

Which headlight is out? Low beam, high beam, both?

Ah, not that is matters. The tech needs to get into taking some voltage readings in the wirings to figure out just where the problem lies.

you think it's expensive to do!?!?!?!
I don't want to go to dealer....the warranty has expired already

The HID uses a ballast that supplies something like 25,000 or 50,000 volt startup pulse. Don't mess with it if you don't know what you're doing.

do you think it's the problem with the battery or fuse?!

Correct. 25 kV. You dont what to try to do drop test across the headlight with that much voltage unless you know what youre doing.

However, since his headlight was replaced with a new headlight, and it still didnt work you can rule out the headlight as the problem.

Check for a blown fuse, but I doubt it.

Battery, no, not the problem.

Any updates on this problem?

I have the same problem. My right headlight (low beam HID) started to flicker couple weeks ago and then it totally died. I changed a new HID bulb and it worked fine. Now few days ago the buld died again!? It was a cheap "brand-x" bulb, so i bought a new philips bulb, same as the original.

So now there's a new bulb, but no light. I've checked the fuses also and they are ok.

Is it some relay or groundig problem? All other lights works fine. Only the right lowbeam is out.

I have read something about "ballast" problem. Can anyone explain to me how to diagnose the ballast problem?

Thanks for any help, sorry about my bad english.
