Hi all

Been considering either a TT or a RX8 for sometime and after swaying between the two for a while, I feel I'm favouring the Mazda again!

Registered a few months ago on this forum to keep updated but not been able to view much recently so my questions were:

- Is it possible to have a test drive anywhere yet if you are not a pre-order person? If not, is there a date when?

- Are there any further shows or even dealerships who have the RX8 in to view in the North West Region?

I pre ordered in March and I have not been able to get a test drive yet. My Dealer (knightsbridge in Stockport)despite having over 50 preorders have said that they will not have a car until they pick up their demonstrator from Silverstone at the end of October :mad:
Does anyone who ordered at the Warrington dealership have any news on test drives from there?

Hope you get your test drive soon - especially as you are a pre order for a few months! Looks like I might have to wait a bit longer before I get to go for a spin!

If anyone spots RX8's to view in the North West - somewhere like Warrington would be ideal, then let me know so I can sneek a look!

Ordered in may at the warrington dealer.

Seen on on the tour in manchester, and thats it.

Seems like half the forums (and wolrd) have had a test drive, some even 2 and nothing for us. Even better, my dealer contact lied to me about the test drives.

Yep, I'm not surprised about Warrington not getting a car but it is a pain that no test drives have been avaliable with a 50 mile radius (Rob, my sales guy still hasn't got back in touch about this).

I'm stunned at Stockport not getting a car though, although I think they were expecting to get one immediatly after the Manchester Dealer launch event. So perhaps Mazda renaged on that promise so now Stockport may feel a bit bitter and don't want to pay for something they were promised as a freebie.

I ordered in July from Dickinson Brothers in Winsford and, apart from stting in one at the Manchester event, have not had a test drive.

I rang liverpool a couple of days ago, and they are not having any test drives until Oct/Nov. Winsford is a small dealer, so Im not holding out any hope there either.

I also rang Warrington, but no joy :(
