I was out on a drive with my dad 86' 944 Turbo and my brother 95' Civic Turbo Kit when I passed a car to catch up to them. The Check engine light began flashing at 115mph. So we pulled over and I checked the oil it was low so I added oil. I then restarted the car no light. So I gave it a little gas then the light came on again and just stayed on.
Does anyone know why this happen??

Get a code reader, or find someone who has one, and read the code.

There are so many possibilities that you can't even guess without knowing the code.

I'm taking it to the area mazda dealer tomorrow, it's still under warranty. Just wanted to know if anyone else had this happen to them.

could be misfire
could be intake solenoid
could be *insert possiblity here*

Thanks everyone I found out it was a recalled item. The first two plugs needed to be replaced with hotter plugs. Thanks for all your help.

oh no! :scared: you didn't let them do the emissions recall while they were at it, did you?!
