has replaced the baffles in the oil pan. If you have had this done can you please post which dealer did the work for you and where they are located. Taking my girlfriends car in tomorrow for the same problem and the dealer says they have never heard of this. Just want to have some backup information to drop off with the car.

The new part is for a complete oil pan, not just new baffles. You can make a call to Mazda (number in car manual) or do a search for a post of mine about 2 weeks ago.

It states that the new pans wont go out to dealers until end of Sept and gives new part number.
