llzjayarzll 04-18-2007, 09:59 PM why a mustang? =/
why a mustang? =/
I've heard they're more funner at first, but after a while the RX-8 is more funner.
DaTrixStunna 04-18-2007, 10:09 PM I've heard they're more funner at first, but after a while the RX-8 is more funner.

CarAndDriver 04-18-2007, 10:12 PM Nice....so how did the accident happen?
tajabaho1 04-18-2007, 10:13 PM MORE VERY MUCH FUNNER!!! lol
supergoat 04-18-2007, 10:18 PM I've heard they're more funner at first, but after a while the RX-8 is more funner.
True. The RX-8 can't touch the Mustang in a straight line. Power on demand rules.
But.
The RX-8 is the better car.
Long story short. I didn't see her, she didn't see me. Turning at a blind intersection. Coast looked clear, then there she was. Side swiped the front and took everything with it. Her car was barely damaged. No one was put at fault. So while I didn't get a ticket, my insurance still had to cut me a $25,000 check so my rates did rise. Not too much though.
CarAndDriver 04-18-2007, 10:20 PM ^ No wonder my rates rose!
That generation Mustang went way too long....its aged.

You should have gotten a Crossfire, it's the most funnerest car ever!
supergoat 04-18-2007, 10:21 PM Yea...not gay. :)

Agreed. It's a 2004 but feels SO dated. The interior just upset me after about a month.

I suppose there was only so much Ford could do for a decades old car, but I agree that the interior is pretty awful compared to the new one and the 8.
So what are the stats on your new 8?
dillsrotary 04-18-2007, 10:33 PM WHO ARE YOU?!?!?!?!!
actually i do remember you, you tested the obx exhaust.
congrats on the 8 too.
supergoat 04-18-2007, 10:35 PM thanks. :)
The stats are it's a 04 RX-8 with 28,000 miles. Leather, NAV, sunroof, 6 speed, HID lights...all that jazz. Basically everything available but the aero package and a spoiler.
I already have a spoiler on order as well as exhaust....OBX of course. :)
CarAndDriver 04-18-2007, 10:54 PM All TSB and recall work done?
go the hell away, noob.
Part of that first Blue car is now a part of MY car. It's the circle of Life..
abbid 04-18-2007, 11:25 PM I think i know you
you bought an OBX exhaust off ebay and you talk like a pirate.
TomAssBender 04-18-2007, 11:35 PM I hate seeing 8's in crashes, but am always amazed at the way the crumple! I feel so safe.
Xyntax 04-19-2007, 01:12 AM ^ true that. I'm amazed how safe this car's crumple zones have been designed. The only crashes I've seen (in pictures) that have the cage compromised were the ones that went on fire.
Other than that, no matter how bad the accident, this car really shines even when crumpled. Speaking from experience here.
XDEEDUBBX 04-19-2007, 01:15 AM its not the most funnerest but the bestest!
supergoat 04-19-2007, 06:07 AM All TSB and recall work done?
yup. :)
maxxdamigz 04-19-2007, 07:05 AM I never saw the Mustang in person, so, for my own benefit, I'll assume it never existed. You just walked everywhere for 6 months.
CarAndDriver 04-19-2007, 11:04 AM Well I hope you are start posting me so we get to know you.
Gambit 04-19-2007, 11:20 AM When I say more funner I mean more funner! Understand my little nooblet?
rx-8 is the funnerest!!
and nooblet is an awesome word
maxxdamigz 04-19-2007, 11:24 AM I like nublino. It's Italian!
Vancouver Blue-8 04-19-2007, 01:25 PM Congrat. Your 8 looks exactly the same as mine. WB ... no spoiler no clear corner no strakes (yet ...), with nav. system, even the rusty hubs look the same ...
CarAndDriver 04-19-2007, 05:22 PM Funnerest
supergoat 04-19-2007, 07:55 PM I joined December 01. I rule.
Just got it home. It feels so good to be back in a 8. So very good indeed.
