I just got the black 8 and would like get a nice window tints job.
If you had a window tint job in NOVA, MD, DC area and would like to share your experience, information and recommend some good shop, please post it up. I would really appreciated.

D&L Window Tinting did our and we have been very happy with the results. This is not the best shot, but you can see the custom work they did in film for the rear window.

 

I got mine done over at LA Tint in Sterling. They do great work. I think its a good price because it comes with a lifetime warranty against fading, bubbling or anything like that. I've had all my cars done there. I'll post pictures soon. Check out their website www.latint.com

hey foxyroxy.. i got 2 questions

do you go to montgomery college because i saw a black rx-8 just like yours at the germantown campus like 1-2 month ago?

do you go to autocrossing at fedex or ripken stadium because i saw the pics at teamWTF website. I went today to go autocrossing for the first time with the rx8 BS class.

oh yeah. to answe the tinting question.

Winner's Tint shop is really good.. they did mine 20% all around. 150 with warranty! contact me if you need more info.

Um, no to the first question. Roxy is Black Cherry, not black. Oh, and please let me know if you (or anyone) see the rear window art on another car. But, yes, that is Roxy at FedEx field. Don't know why they missed her for Test & Tune also. New pics are up on teamWTF from yesterday's L3 school and Roxy is there - hmm, only two shots tho.

Here is a better shot of the rear window. Frank at D&L does great work. Also, D&L offers a lifetime warenty for the film and an optional 3 year warenty for anything that goes wrong (including kids, passengers picking at the film).
