It is a speed limiting device cutoff for JDM cars to allow full speed of car.

Oh I searched around the site some more and they also sell a module to controll shift points and speed s of a CVT equipped car.
CVT being a constantlly variable transmission.

Is that true? I thought it was just a device to change the throttle respond faster for those drive-by-wire car. Will find a chance to check out the top speed.

Just tested my car. I'm not sure the top speedat the beginning, but can go 10k rpm. But then again, after change the battery, Can't up anymore. Max 9.5k only. I let go at 187km/h due to the road uneven and caused the car so bumpy and move left and right..

How I change the battery:

1. remove both + and - then took out the old battery.
2. Put a new battery on. Connect the + and -.

After that, found the DSC light and car slipped light on. After off the engine, DSC gone. And after run for some distance, off the engine and the car slipping light off as well.
