I am looking for something for a desk ornament, with a rotary theme.

A rotor from an engine would be best, a scale model would be OK. I have found the scale models on e-bay, but I have not had much luck looking for used rotors and such.

What kind of stuff do you have, and where did you get it?

I bought one of these displays from Atkins Rotary on ebay....

They are race damaged housings and rotors that are unrebuildable.

I sand blasted the aluminum back to clean/new metal, and it makes a nice, if large, display.

Thanks! I ordered one from Atkins today and they will be shipping it to me. I just sent them an e-mail with the photo in it so they knew what I was looking for.

I'll post what it looks like when it arrives.
