Like the ones on Audi's, BMW and Mercedes. I even think that Lexus, Infinity and Acura has them. Not a big deal though. What do you guys think?

Hercules 10-31-2002, 06:12 PM My Millenia has them so I don't see why not. I'd prefer not having a NET though, I'd rather have a pocket.. Netting is a pain to just throw something in as it catches onto the web of the net :( Donny Boy 10-31-2002, 06:19 PM Yeah, give me a pocket instead of the net. Handy to store things like maps that are bigger than an envelope. fuz 10-31-2002, 06:20 PM Nav, who needs maps? ;) No yelling from your SO when you get lost either. ;) Grimace 10-31-2002, 08:28 PM I'd rather NOT see pockets if they sag after a few years like the ones on my parent's Sable. I don't see how it could sag... Elara 10-31-2002, 08:46 PM Ugh, the leather ones are the worst- no offense Hercules. We had one in my Dad's first SHO and someone stuck a book in it and left it there for a couple weeks- the leather never regained its shape. From then on it had a nice book-shaped stretch mark in it. A fine mesh net would be nice- I think. Grimace 10-31-2002, 09:09 PM Originally posted by Elara Ugh, the leather ones are the worst- no offense Hercules. A few cassettes shoved in the back for a few weeks, and now the back of the seat looks like its opening its mouth to swallow small children and the elderly. If they use a tough leather that won't happen. It's the cheap leather that makes that happen. fuz 11-01-2002, 12:18 AM How about one of those little fold out tables like a jaguar. :D You can... like poke people though it since the seats are so thin. Mazda man 11-01-2002, 11:20 AM I dont know if this would work or not but how about a map compartment with lid underneath the rear seats? I have shown where I think it could go in the pic. The reason for this is I thought that the Rx-8 had thin seat backs so there is more rear legroom so putting a map pocket there would decrease legroom. So what do you think?? My friend's Audi has them (in the front though) and they are EXTREMELY useful! I'd love to have those. |
