Hey guys. I've been reading this forum for a couple weeks now, and have been following the RX-8 for about a year. I want one, oh how i want one, but cannot afford it (or the insurance) until my Focus is paid off, i turn 25, and i get married. :)

So anyway, i'm a pretty active member on www.focaljet.com (focus forum) and i am not sure how active i'll be here until i get closer to purchasing an RX-8. I'll be lurking around, reading about the problems (hopefully not many) that arise with this car.

well, off to deal with the aftermath of this damned isabel.

You need to call and see what the insurance will cost you. The insurance on my 04 8A/T costs $5 more a month than our 01 Hyundai Elauntra.

That's the plan! I know that message boards and forums are much more helpful than, say, dealerships (whose main goal is to sell the car)... so i figure i'll check around here, lurking and learning, to see if i can justify a $32,000 investment.
