Do you guys think its creepy for someone you know to stalk you online? That is, to constantly check myspace or other cites for your activity? I have to change accounts every few weeks cause someone keeps hacking into my stuff. My emails, forums, etc. are all vulnerable to my very own e-stalker. It's not so much creepy as it is annoying now. At first, it was creepy. Now, I'm just getting real tired of it! It's been almost...what? Two-Three years doing this b/s.

No, not you Mikey. I say yer ass in my bushes last week and it's cool. I'm talking about e-stalking! I've tried EVERYTHING. I'll look around the room and use whatever I see as my password. Something like "curtainrod" or some sh!t. And it still gets cracked into. I know it's the same person, too. My brother told me to get one of those fingerprint password deals, but the thing is I get these creepy emails about my posts on this and other forums aswell.

Now, I know this is a "public" forum...but daymn! This person ain't got sh!t else better to do?

how you know someones constantly checking your myspace page? if you can tell that someones constantly checking it, woudlnt you know the account and thus knows who it is?

lol thats how i came up with the name for my network when the neighbors were hacking in. It became the encrypted network known as "lampshade".

you say you have changed passwords/accounts what not, but have you reformatted your hard drive/reinstall windows/load antivirus/then change your passwords?

when you make your next passwords, do a mix of letters/numbers/capitals and non capitals and do not use any word in the english dictionary. misc letters/numbers or abbreviations for things.

If you have a wireless router, secure it. password protect it. turn off the ssid broadcast and then change the name of the ssid.

set up your router to only allow certain mac addresses to even connect to it.

after all that, change your e-mail to a new address and don't open e-mails from people you don't know.

oh, and if you get e-mails to enlarge certain parts of your body...don't trust them. they don't work...i mean, they are spam. ;)

Phantom are you sure you just dont have a split personality that likes V-8's and as retrubution for your Rotary love he's harassing you online, so when he gives up control you find these odd messages and odd purchase's from Eddlebrock on your credit card?! :dunno:

+1 me thinks this is ur problem, cuz while i was in bushes, i saw steak up on a tree, other then that, no one else was around. must be the key stroke trojan. *bevis laugh i said "stroke"

Also there seems to be some people who have hacked into the Club before -

One of the funniest stalking incidents that occured at my work happened after I thought someone was breaking into my lab notes, so I made a couple of pages of MsNs and Ws and Vs because they are hard on the eyes, and threw in a couple of numbers just to make it more interesting - and the idiot had the gall to sit at my table and complain about the eye strain. I didn't roll on the floor until I could lock myself into my office....

I simply switched computers installed a better firewall and loaded the old one with anything that seemed to be amusing.

Here with the club, you just got to keep cleaning out the really stupid micro programs and don't put anything useful on the system -

was curious so i made a few pages of MsNs and Ws, seems like the Ws are the worse, the Ns werent so bad, but what i'm wondering is why he kept stairing at it till he's eyes got strained? i would have just turned away and continue to stalk phantom.

I don't use myspace myself, but my daughter tells me you go to "profileviewsplus.com" and set it up there - she said there are other sites also where this is available, but this is the one she uses.
