Alfa Roemo 8 Competizione Concept
missinmahseven 09-18-2003, 08:11 AM WHY does it nearly always take an Italian carmaker to really turn my crank?! The last Japanese cars to do this to me were the NA Miata and the FD Rx7.. THIS is the direction I wish Mazda would take! Timeless, classic, looks good 30 years in the future, or 30 years ago.
The last American car to do this to me was.. the original Stingray. Wow, talk about a dry spell..
I want this Alfa. I want it. RWD, 4.2 liter v8 (could it be the Ferrari/Maserati 8-banger?) Sell this for 60,000, Alfa, and you'll pull a fast one on BMW, Porsche, etc :D
Quick_lude 09-18-2003, 08:56 AM Very nice, I like it.. I see hints of the Enzo and RX-8 in it.. Can't go wrong with that combo. :D
mikeb 09-18-2003, 01:30 PM WOWWWW
donald121 09-18-2003, 01:36 PM It looks like bat-mobile. :D
P00Man 09-18-2003, 09:41 PM cars so damn tight, id love to see it in the states
thats one of the things Italy does better than anybody else, make things beautiful

Problems from depakote (http://www.classactionsettlements.org/lawsuit/depakote/)
M-ster 09-19-2003, 07:01 AM Have not seen new cars emerging the market with this kind of curves for a while now. This car looks really really good, sexy! I hope it would make it to the production line.
RotorGeek 09-20-2003, 03:07 PM Those curves remind me of the Dino
cueball 09-21-2003, 06:22 PM That is definitely stunning.
I love the voluptuous curves of the rear quarter panel.
P00Man 09-21-2003, 09:10 PM anyone know the projected specs for that thing?

ZASKAR-RX8 10-02-2003, 01:39 AM Beautiful, but ..... it's an Alfa Romeo .....
mikeb 10-02-2003, 02:14 AM whats wrong with alfa romero
ZASKAR-RX8 10-02-2003, 02:22 AM Like all italian cars, not reliable, a lot of "visits" to the garage, it lost very quickly their value (I don't know how it's said in english, sorry), expensive maintenace, ...
the only good thing of the italian cars --> very good exterior design, thats all.
and... it's a Fiat :(
Mockngbrd 10-02-2003, 02:56 AM hmm.. not really.. the newer alfas (156/147)are quite ok in reliability.....
its the older ones which are quite unreliable....
(might as well say that Ferrari is a Fiat)
ZASKAR-RX8 10-02-2003, 03:08 AM Yeah
Ferrari and Maserati..... each 2000km to the garage and 3000 euro in maintenance.
RobDickinson 10-02-2003, 03:26 AM That new alfa is bvasicaly a restyled Maserati with a ferari engin in anyhow.
A 4300gt or whatever.
Oh and Alfa's are anything but reliable, as are fiats. Alfa's selspeed gearbox and 4 cylinder engines are awfull, aswell as brakes, suspension and transmission.
Their V6's are schweet tho!
mikeb 10-02-2003, 05:08 PM zaskar
How can you say that
Have you ever even owned a Italian car
P00Man 10-02-2003, 07:59 PM yeah, hes from spain

________
Ebony Webcam (http://www.girlcamfriend.com/webcam/ebony-girls/)
ZASKAR-RX8 10-03-2003, 01:48 AM owned a Maserati 3200 GT (twin turbo, 370 CV)
and a friend has a Ferrari 348 GTB and a Lamborghini Diablo VTS
and we know what kind of fucking cars are those italians.
Very beautiful, good design, etc.. but not reliable at all.
Sorry, but I hate italians cars (not italian people :D )
mikeb 10-03-2003, 02:43 AM good because I'm Italian

P00Man, what's the meaning of your post? I don't understand very well, i'm 26 old guy from SPAIN ...
rloewy 10-07-2003, 03:00 PM I love Alfas. I used to own an Alfa Spider - that little 4 cylinder engine is still among the most rev happy engines out there - and the sound is to die for.
It was not the most reliable car out there - but it was worth the hassle.
I would still love to own a 1967 GTV at some point... - or a Montreal, or a Duetto, or a SZ or a TZ or a Giulia Super or ... you get the idea...
Ron.
