Hi all. I'm new here, but not to the rotary. I've working on 7's for the last 3 or 4 years and figured that I should come here and learn more bout the 8. Please school me with the basics about the car. Anything will do. I'm especially interested and the motor and tranny combo and if anybody has made a turbo kit for it yet.

Now that the dealers have more RX-8's around, you'll have to go drive one and really check in out inside, under the hood, and underneath. Having worked on the sevens, you'll have even more appreciation of the eight than most of us. It's really quite a car. When the shop's service manuals arrive, I'm sure the dealer would let you sit and go through one. Have fun!
