if I had a choice i would prefer to stick to 225/45R18. however, we know that, in Singapore, this is an odd size for most tires. among reputed tires, so far, I could only find AD07 and PS1 (limited stock) for the above profile.
Given a choice, would you choose 235/45R18 or 235/40R18?
increase in ride height vs stock:
- 235/45: +4.5mm
- 235/40: -7.3mm
am thinkg of 235/45 as car is low and am worried of "humps" should the ride height is further lowered. any other things I should consider before making a decision?
also, any other tires I have missed out that carry 225/45R18 locally?
thanks in advance for any inputs.

that's with a set of Tanabe GF210 springs.
Hey, correct me if i'm wrong but from wat i noe, 235/45R18 is the odd size one. i've jus changed my rims n tires and i was told tat is the 'odd' 1 (cas i find 225 too narrow n 40 too thin) and 225/45R18 is the 'normal' 1, ani verification?

ok not sure abt 235/45R18 but 225/45R18 is an odd size, according to the tires I'm after.
235/40R18 no issue with most tires.
oh, i'm pretty sure 235/R45 is an odd size. as for 225/R45, since MM comes stock with tat config, i tot tat is a norm size. Cheers

The more correct size is 245/40, if you want to maintain the ride height.

yup. but understand that it may not be ideal/suitable to fit a 245 to a 8" width rim altho some manufacturers are saying it's ok to do so.

unfortunately tires like ps2, eagle f1, etc do not come in 225/45R18 for Singapore market altho they are available in the US.
