Ouch! (and that's understatement of the year)

A complete new engine ... you'll need to break it in again :(

I feel for ya... I guess keep an eye on things with it, if you have any trouble whatsoever, make sure you keep on them... must be heartbreaking, which I also know the feeling of, had an off when it started raining cats and dogs the other night, spun around and hit a gutter, have a ding in front of the drivers rear wheel now, not too obvious, but I know it's there :(

KAS, id be asking for a brand new car and not just the engine if they dont comply iwould see my solicitor and take them to the cleaners .
A full page add correctly worded in the papers always gets the ears pricked up (usually a threat is enough to get some action )
Anyhow sorry to hear about your problems keep us informed.

Its not too well known but the guys at Mazda Australia DO WATCH & READ THIS FORUM.

So just be careful what you do say in regards to this type of issue.

Good luck & stay cool.
