anyone change blinker bulbs in front or back
I wanted red for back blinker instead of orange but when I changed to red it looked pink due to taillight behind clear.

I just changed mine out last night to chrome coated. I'll try to get a pic tonight.

I got them here:

btw, the rear bulbs are easy to change; the front ones are much less fun, but still doable.

what color do the chrome bulbs light up and how did you change the front blinkers.

The chromes I bought light up amber.

To get to the front signals, you gotta remove those little pop-in thingys (technical term, yes) and pull back the front wheel well linings, with the wheels turned fully to one side. Then you've got to reach up in there, and behind a metal bit of body, and twist your arm at a couple funky angles, and you'll get the socket twisted out. (light socket only hopefully, not your shoulder) To be sure you're trying to loosen the correct socket, you can wiggle it a little and you'll see the bulb moving... if you can get yourself into a positon to see it, hehe.

The important thing with the fronts, is to take your time, and don't get all flustered and get your blood pressure up, 'cause that way you'll likely end up hurting yourself.

thank you, I wasn't sure if I could get to them by popping the hood but now I know

Here are my chromed bulb pics (http://members.aol.com/jdaled/RX8pics/Lights/) (and some of my red interior lights too)

I didn't get any equivalent "before" pics though, sorry :(

You have to remove two screws that are located inside the sunglass holder area. Then, using a flathead screwdriver, pop the whole unit off the liner. Then you can get to the bulbs from the back side. There are pictures of where the screws are, and where to use the flathead in the owners manual, chapter 8 (User Maintenance)

It's pretty easy, actually.
