I could freakin' make love to one of their sandwiches! mike0615 03-01-2007, 12:21 AM i did once and u know what... ohhh snap! i'm thinking out loud again.... chickenwafer 03-01-2007, 12:54 AM ^ Hope you didn't have horseraddish on it! No More Oldsmobiles 03-01-2007, 11:23 AM I ate at Quiznos today. I could freakin' make love to one of their sandwiches! On the few times I've gone there, I thought they were far superior to Subway. (BTW, get a room.) dmc27 03-01-2007, 01:09 PM def better, but they should be - it costs ~30% more for a sandwich at Quizno's. TurboEight 03-01-2007, 01:16 PM def better, but they should be - it costs ~30% more for a sandwich at Quizno's. it's about the same if you see thier sizes too....not just the taste and quality dmc27 03-01-2007, 01:54 PM It's worth the extra dough, no matter sandwhich way you slice it. can't have a bad parody threadbread without some bad punsbuns. RedSheDevil 03-01-2007, 05:40 PM since i've already volunteered to be NoTear's hero, NMO i can help your hero too ... i'll grill it up in my foreman! No More Oldsmobiles 03-01-2007, 05:53 PM since i've already volunteered to be NoTear's hero, NMO i can help your hero too ... i'll grill it up in my foreman! That's right, I remember how much you love the foreman. But I've never grilled a hero. Can you grill a gyro instead of a hero? NoTears316 03-01-2007, 06:04 PM Quiznos grills their sandwiches. I freakin' love those things. RedSheDevil 03-01-2007, 06:04 PM That's right, I remember how much you love the foreman. But I've never grilled a hero. Can you grill a gyro instead of a hero? dunno ... but we can certainly try! hey why is it that any gyros place that is worth it's salt has a nasty picture of the meat going around on a stick? it's usually faded and very poorly drawn. you think the quality of the meat is inversely related to the awfulness of the picture? RedSheDevil 03-01-2007, 06:06 PM Quiznos grills their sandwiches. I freakin' love those things. the bf is addicted to their chicken carbonara ... seriously i may have to perform an intervention!!! No More Oldsmobiles 03-01-2007, 06:08 PM dunno ... but we can certainly try! hey why is it that any gyros place that is worth it's salt has a nasty picture of the meat going around on a stick? it's usually faded and very poorly drawn. you think the quality of the meat is inversely related to the awfulness of the picture? I dunno, but I'd love to find a place near me that serves it that way -- the real way. All I can find are the cheap, pre-sliced variety. RedSheDevil 03-01-2007, 06:11 PM aha, we have whole areas of chicago devoted to crappy signage! not a fan of the gyros myself but i do love the tzatziki (sp?) sauce!!! NoTears316 03-01-2007, 06:14 PM dunno ... but we can certainly try! hey why is it that any gyros place that is worth it's salt has a nasty picture of the meat going around on a stick? it's usually faded and very poorly drawn. you think the quality of the meat is inversely related to the awfulness of the picture? Last time I was in Riyadh, I had a gyro from a place just like that. Meat on a stick kinda thing. It was pretty freakin' good from what I remember. dmc27 03-02-2007, 09:45 AM Any meat served on a stick has got to be good. To have the cajones to throw presentation to the wind in our society, you've gotta know your meat is da bomb. "No bowl, stick. Stick." "You got anything to drink in there?" "Mountain Dew or Crab Juice." "Ewwww. Ugh. I'll take the crab juice." RedSheDevil 03-02-2007, 10:01 AM lol... meat on a stick: chiaruscura (sp?) those new brazilian places that are popping up all over here ... BRING ME MORE MEAT! dmc27 03-02-2007, 10:58 AM Went to one of those Monday night. Dayum dat shites goooood!!! Just heard something on the radio, but really was only half listening - anyway - here's what I caught: A woman was arrested at the airport (I guess travelling internationally) b/c she was caught trying to smuggle fish. In her "undergarments" (Paul Harvey's words) I almost fell off my chair. No More Oldsmobiles 03-02-2007, 11:22 AM lol... meat on a stick: chiaruscura (sp?) those new brazilian places that are popping up all over here ... BRING ME MORE MEAT! The stick is referred to as a spit. Watch your friends' faces when you tell them the meat was "spit roasted." whaaaaaa? No More Oldsmobiles 04-19-2007, 04:42 PM Sub control! |
