I have a red 1/18 Autoart model on order. Last I knew, they were still backordered. This is good news, Mikeb! When did you get it? It looks great!

Chances are there isn't a micro mode in your digital cam, or you've not found it yet.

The trick to taking a close if you don't have the micro mode, try shooting slightly further away then zoom into your subject, might be a little more shakey, but probably better result then what you had there.

cheers

I will get mine on Monday. These guys have them in stock and you will get your tracking number the next day. They are really good to deal with

My red 1/18 arrived from diecastmuscle.com on Friday, September 19th. What a beautiful and nicely-detailed model! I'm going to give one to my salesman -- they don't have any promo models yet.

www.diecast.com has two autoart models.
1:43 scale and 1:18 scale
I've ordered the 1:18 scale (10 inches) at a cost of $49.95
only once you have placed yor order will they bill you for the shipping charge..which was $26!
Anyway, its done now and at least it will give me something to polish while I eagerly await next Feb or is it March...Apri...

i think you mean mAcro mode... on most cameras it looks like a little flower button.

Anyway i have the Auto Art 1:43 and 1:18 scale RX-8 (along with about 32 other models, i'm a collector) and they are fantastic, as one should expect from AA. I buy almost all of them on eBay.

Diecastmuscle.com had a preorder price of $50 each. Shipping for two 1/18 RX-8's was $8.50, for a total of $108.50. Like Kennyboy, I didn't know what the shipping charge would be.
