I just purchased wheels 19x8.5 adn 19x9.5 35mm offset. Stock hight (for now). What size tires should I purchase (235x35x19? 245x35x19? 275x30x19?) I'm lost. This site has saved me countless hours of work.

What size tires should I purchase (235x35x19? 245x35x19? 275x30x19?) I'm lost. This site has saved me countless hours of work. TownDrunk 02-27-2007, 09:10 PM I run 245's up front, and 275's in the rear, however I'm on 18's and my wheels are half an inch wider front and back. In other words, my post is completely useless. Sorry, too much scotch. TownDrunk 02-27-2007, 09:13 PM One more thing... You can go here: http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp and figure out which tire sizes on 19" wheels would be the best fit in terms of diameter and such. I'm guessing on the 8.5 and 9.5 you might want to go with a 235 and a 265, rather than 245 and 275 (not that 245 and 275 wouldn't work). llzjayarzll 02-27-2007, 10:31 PM 19x8.5 + 19x9.5 axis shines for me. 245/35/19 front +35 (i think) 275/30/19 rear +40 no rubbing anywhere. llzjayarzll 02-27-2007, 10:32 PM my rear is like a perfect fit with the fender =) Chamberlin 02-28-2007, 12:43 AM just to help fill in some blanks, I just installed 19X9 +45 rims all the way around, but I staggered the tires, 255 in front, 275 in rear... with no issues anywhere... I also have it lowered via JIC coilovers about 1.5 inches. -C ac3mastuh 02-28-2007, 09:02 AM im still not to keen on the idea that the 245/35 tire is taller than the 275/30. I've never liked a front wheel/tire combo to be taller than the rear. I've seen it in person and you can't really tell but i'm still going to run 235/35 and 275/30 when i get my wheels in TEKFUZION 02-28-2007, 12:52 PM Thank you......I am going to go with 235/35 front and 275/30 in the rear. Any tire preference? ac3mastuh 03-01-2007, 05:12 PM Im partial to the toyo t1r. I have them on my stock wheels and the handling over the bridgestones is an unbelievable difference Chamberlin 03-01-2007, 05:24 PM I have the older T1S tires, and they are nice too... and I heard the Proxes are one of the lighter tires out there, size to size. N rider89 03-02-2007, 02:44 AM i have another set of wheels same demnsions but the offset is +45 instead of his +30 what tire sizes would you recomend and what brand? c41250n 03-02-2007, 03:38 AM 245 front and 275 rear will work! |
