i was just wondering what names people gave their 8. i'm really leaning towards Mary Jane cuz the Mary jane is Spiderman is a redhead... my car is Velocity Red:D

"My car" - (my black RX8)
"Your truck" - (her silver Infiniti QX4)

"Our car" - (our Lexus SC430)

My Godaughter had called it "Zoom-Zoom" since I showed her the pre-prodution videos a year and a half ago. She would always ask "When do you get Zoom-Zoom?" By the time the car was here we were all calling it "Zoom-Zoom." Not very original I know.

Mine is "Misti Blu" b/c it sounds like a stripper/porn star's name.

You know "Velocity Red" was a great name for a paint colour, but "Voluptuous Red" would have been better :D

I got my 8 on August 10th and named it Mystique.

i call mine the neckbreaker after how many heads it turns

My 3 year old names all our cars. The RX-8 is called "cool red car" or "mommy's car". Then again everything we own is know as mommy's _______.

My housemate calls it the "BATMOBILE".

FYI: previous car was the "Whoremobile". (Firebird).

I have a black RX8 and I call it "Gee Ma Goun" - Seasame roll (black outside and red inside)

Most of my friends have Yum Cha dishes named after their cars..

I used to have a Har Gao (Shrimp Dumpling) which was a white Integra Type R DC2 (lightweight ver.) with red Recardo seats.

Compare to my friend also has a white Integra Type R RSX (DC5) also red Recardo inside - heavier and his car's name is Cha Siu Pao (Pork Bun)

Someone has a grey Boxster S look like Yue Chi Gao (shark fin dumpling) it is expensive dish as well!!!!

One friend has a Yellow MR2 which is a Dan Tat (Custard Tart) and how has a R34 GTR which is white with black leather so... Tong Yuen (Seasame balls - a Yum Cha desert)

A black 200SX with strange green tinge to the uphostery - his name is Pei Dan (preserved Duck eggs)

"Rex" has been my nickname for the RX-8, but my fiance thinks it should be a woman's name. I still like "Rex".

I keep calling it the "8".

I may have to come up with something creative.

I named my PDA "Alphonse" (the cop labor in Patlabor).

Hmm, I've never had a car worthy of naming since Das Boot (73 LTD Wagon) that I had in high school.

I'll have to think on that one.
