Oh. my. god.

If you want a laugh, go to ebay and do a search on the phrase (with quotes) "intake sensor mod" -- or click on this link:

http://search.ebay.com/search2/search.dll?MfcISAPICommand=GetResult&query=%22intake+sensor+mod%22

The sad thing is, I'm sure lots of folks are gullible enough to believe this!

Haha, "Your car will accelerate faster and have a higher top end speed. Your 1/4 mile times will decrease a few tenths of a second and your 1/4 mile MPH will improve as well." 1/4 mile times will decrease? May be this is what they really mean.

What blows me away is the number of people that have bought this from him already! Who in their right mind would think that tricking the ECU into thinking it's cold all the time is okay for your motor? Also, I like that it adds exactly 20 hp to each and every make and model it's listed for. Wow, that's some serious consistency!

OK, the person on ebay isn't so smart, but yes... he's trying to say that 1/4 times will decrease. Going from 15 secs to 14.7 secs is a decrease. Is it not?

I wonder if he means that you will cross the quarter mile finish line at a higher terminal speed (mph) than before, in addition to getting there in a shorter elapsed time. The two don't always go hand in hand.
