Tried searching with no luck or I just suck at it.

Small problem but annoying.

My outside temp guage doesn't work well. It reads some what normal when i first get into the car in the morning. When I get on the highway it goes up, way up. I live in Canada so i read celsius. It will go up 20* plus.

I have had the dealer look at it a few times(other repairs) so far they have changed out the actual sensor(no change) so they tried another(same thing) now the changed the audio display. yup no change.

Anyone else have this happening to them?

Any help would be awesome.

Thanks

Using my Rx in pretty much similar climate (northern Europe)
but have not seen this happening. I hope you get it fixed eventually.

:scratchhe be sure you have not had any antifreeze leaks around the sensor area this can and will cause advearse readings up and down the scale if it got into the wire harness somehow.this is mostly all i can come up with w/out seeing myself.hope it helps. :suspect:

Thanks for the reply.

How do I access this sensor to check?

Just spoke with the dealer and they said it is fine when the compare it to a cx7. Man is it hard to tell them it reads fine until you drive it. :scratchhe They said they did that too. I call bs.

hmmm going to try another dealer.

Took it to another dealer and it was repaired right away. Sensor was installed in the wrong spot. :spank:
