Does any one know how many cfps does the engine put out at idle and wot?

Now, a similar mass of material should come out of the engine as what goes in (in the form of air and fuel). Which would lead me to believe that output rate would be much greater than input rate as you are turning a (relatively) dense material (gasoline) into a far less dense material (gasseous CO, CO2, H2O, N2O, SO2, etc).

yeah - the gas products of the fuel combustion probably account for a big portion of the exhaust... if air in = air out, then there wouldnt be any CO2 emissions problems contribution to global warming.

i'm curious to know the answer to this question as well
