Hey guys. I ran across these wheels and saw them on white 350Z and really liked the looks. I'm about 6 months away from getting new wheels and am still playing around with some other designs in Photoshop.

Do you guys think these wheels work on the 8? There was a yellow 8 with the AutoBahn kit running with these wheels in silver and they looked hot.

So what do you think?

Very nice, I've been kicking the idea around with the gram light wheels in gold or bronze, but mine is VRM. :icon_tup:

If I had a red 8, gold wheels for sure. Reminds me of the Ducati 916.

gold advan sienna's are a nice mesh wheel..

i like black wheels on white cars... but those look decent!

Mesh Rims do not look good on RX8s

this coming from a guy who has mesh rims on his 8. LOL - they look horrible and i know it, but its ok cuz theyre just track wheels.

Thanks for the responses fellas. My girlfriend thinks I'm crazy to have a photoshop file with a dozen different layers for different wheels I'm considering. Going just silver is probably a safer bet. I'm afraid I might tire of the gold.

Those look horrible. Like i said before mesh on an rx8 is really bad. Silver on White also doesnt look so great - the colors dont contrast well. They're too similar. Its just as bad as gold rims on a yellow car, and glack rims on a grey car, or white rims on a silver car.

Then again - if for some reason your set on mesh, go for it. It'll just make my 8 look even better

My preference would be simmons OM's in gold, i think it would look great on white or red cars, i dont have a pic but google them. may be a bit hard to find in the U.S. as they are an aussie wheel, real good quality though

I think mesh wheels look fine on the 8.. Check how bronze rims look on the 8. ( i think it should look great. )

mahalo!Awww - ic ic. You are correct tho, this does give it more of the Euro Look.

Seeing how its a japanese car, i'd rather keep the japanese look. I think this is where we differ. Thats probably one of the reasons why i never liked the mesh look on the RX8s.

BTW, im at work so i cant see anything linked from photobucket - so no opinion on the look of the car in your link.
