Okay, so I'm catching a flight out of town and really want a new game. It's down to two - Elite Beat Agents or Phoenix Wright. Which do you think is the best way to spend my money? I love both rhythm and adventure/puzzle games, so I'm having a hell of a time deciding on my own.

Can you even find Phoenix Wright nowadays? Unless they reprinted it, it's nearly impossible, or you're talking about Phoenix Wright 2: Justice for All.
Elite Beat Agents is good, but it's fuckall hard. I've beaten it on Easy and Medium, but hard is kicking my ass. I'm also a lover of rhythm games, so I'm no noob.
Phoenix Wright is a game that usually requires a bit more time to play, it's kinda like reading a book. Give yourself some time to read the story and get into it.
I would say base your choice on how much time you think you'll have to play. Is it a long flight? Will you be spending time alone, perhaps in the hotel room, etc? Or are you going to be running around a lot, with only short bursts available as your play time.
If it's short bursts, I say go with EBA.
If theres some play time, go with PW.
Have you checked out Hotel Dusk: Room 215 yet? I've heard is really, really good. Old school point and click adventure game that makes really good use of the touch screen.

It would be Phoenix Wright 2, if it was the Phoenix Wright. I've thought about Hotel Dusk too, but I'm not sure it's my style of game - I'll probably give it a shot anyway though. I think Elite Beat is going to get my money for now - it's a two hour flight (Chicago), lots of down time on Sat and Sun, but likely lots of interruptions as well. I'll probably pick up Phoenix and Hotel Dusk as my next two unless something totally badass comes down the tubes.
