Cool Zaino Power (VRed) - before, process, after (does 56k still exist?)

Finally got around to putting another few layers on.

Before, (6 months after the last zaino app, some depth, but hardly any shine or color):

After such a time span like that, a lot of deposits collect on certain areas of the paint which soap can't wash off. I also wanted everything picked up, including zaino, and the paint to be completely bare, so that the polishing with the porter cable and pad can be as effective as possible, without much probability of the pad picking up contaminants and then micro-scratching the paint.

I forgot to take a photo of what the clay picked up, but there was significant dirt, despite giving the car a good wash before claying.

Then I used the porter cable, medium cutting pad, and Poorboy's SSR2.5 to get rid of some minor paint defects as much as I could. There will still scraches that I just can't get out, but at least they're not as noticeable as before. I did most of the major body panels, especially where daylight usually shines on. Followed it up with the green polishing pad and the weaker SSR2 to smooth and clear the polish out.

Then, after a day and another bath, Zaino time.
Z-2 Pro + ZFX (only used a couple ounces or so) applied
30 minutes, buffed out
Z-6 wipe
Z2, applied
30 mins, buff
Z-6
Z-2
30 minutes, buff
Z-6

It's easy to tell when the Z-2 dries up because it sort of crystallizes. I believe 15-20 mins is the usually wait time, but I thought the longer the drying the better, and the more rest the better. Could of made a "work out in your garage with Raptor" video. Application definitely felt easier to do after the first Z-2 app. Despite that, my arms really felt the wax job two days later.

Results:

Worth the several hours of rubbing and buffing? It seems like it

Now, if only I could find some decent scenary.
