It's actually a pretty good Reader's Digest version of several ever-popular posts:

o He gets to say how much he loves the car.

o He gripes about oil use.

o He gripes about mileage.

o He gripes about Mazda service.

As a bonus, he tosses in a nice pic of his girlfriend.

If everyone was that efficient with their posts, the bandwidth would go a lot further.

My cousin sells Toyotas and drives an EVO MR, S2000, and a C class benz. He is not rich, just single. You don't have to be rich to have a lot of cars. I know guys in the service that have 100k cars and make 30k a year. I could sell my house an afford three more RX8's. You don't know him so why doubt him. The definition of "haters".

Its one thing to come on here and say how reliable the 8 is and to maybe mention you have another nice vehicle in the wings if it fits into context, but when other people don't ask about your other cars and someone goes into listing 4 or 5 others for no reason in seperate posts... it gets to me... Are you that unhappy in your life or with yourself, that you need to prove how material you are. Be humble man...

I'm not saying I don't believe you, but one of my big pet-peeves is when people have to show off their materials gifts just to earn self-satisfaction.

And I think this was the intention of the OP (to get applause & compliments), so for you,...AWESOME man... great cars, you're so lucky to have them all!! There you go...

I hate that p-trix posted a thread about his rotary-powered 944 and that I got sucked into giving a damn.

One time on the Speed Channel Automotive Forum, a guy from Seattle claimed to have a Skyline GT-R. This was several years ago. Most of us were "yeah right" and one member got pretty exercised over the whole thing. But the Skyline owner duly posted a pic of himself and his car with a sign reading "from poster X to poster Y". And we all moved on. Its just kind of a netiquette thing I guess.

Built it right? The term "fully built" is subjective. Was it turboed or all motor? A fully built all motor car and a fully built turbo car are totally different in price and in power. 13.1 for an all motor B series is okay and will cost some pretty serious dough unless of course you are spraying. 13.1 for a turbo charged b series is easily doable.

There are all different levels of "built" turboed Hondas. Most turboed Hondas I've seen run at the track are in the 13 second range. Anyhow, back to calling out the guy claiming to have all the cars!. ;)

There are all different levels of all "built cars". And a 13 second range Honda is the average street car not a "built" car IMO. I ran low 12's on a stock bottom end. I ran high 11's with crower rods and a gude head package.

Hey, is that an accoustic bass? How do you like it? I saw a couple in a store and toyed with the notion of buying one...

I like it well enough...I'm not really a bass player so I can't speak to the finer points. If I imagine real hard I can make it sound a bit like Brian Ritchie's. It has a pickup but I've never plugged it in.

I bought it to do some home recording which I now have no time to do, so it is kind of gathering dust. But I have a policy of never, ever, getting rid of instruments...

I bought it to do some home recording which I now have no time to do, so it is kind of gathering dust. But I have a policy of never, ever, getting rid of instruments...Good policy! I've ne'er gotten rid of one myself. Although I do have an old electric bass I've considered getting rid of, since it's pretty beat-up, wasn't that great to start with, and I have a different bass I like better for those infrequent times I play bass (guitar is my main instrument). If I sell it, does that make me a bad person? :)

Heck, no! But as soon as you get rid of it, I can pretty much guarantee you'll come up against a song that the old POS would have sounded gnarly on!

Heck, no! But as soon as you get rid of it, I can pretty much guarantee you'll come up against a song that the old POS would have sounded gnarly on!I'm not worried about that. I don't think I've played the thing at all in at least 10 years. I never played it that much to start with; it took most of its wear and tear when I put it on perpetual loan to my friend who had taken up bass and was in a band with me. I don't think I've played it once since I lent it to him, and he gave it back to me years and years ago.

Why don't you take the picture like folks are asking and see what they say? My take is don't come on a forum telling everyone what you have if you can't prove it to someone or if no one else on the forum has seen it. People can be anything they want to be and haev anythign they want to have behind a keyboard but if they really are what they say or have what they claim, it can be easily proven.
