Received copy of Mazda04 through post this morning & have just had a flick through. Has everyone received a copy of this??

It "hails the arrival of the much anticipated Mazda RX-8"!!! featuring a silver 8 with strakes (or the air outlet trims depnding on which section you are reading)

A couple of points:-

1. Quote- "Push further and a loud buzzer warns the driver to snatch another gear"

All the reviews I've read have said that the buzzer is quiet. Does this perhaps mean that this is adjustable?? Or is it justs Mazda's version of "loud"?

2. Blurb states that comes woth ThatchamCat. 1 alarm & immobiliser (with ref to previous thread on alarms)

3. (Did I say a couple!!) Contains a whole page on RX-8 accesories featuring pedals, strakes, front air dam, rotary crest, tyre deflectors, POLISHED ALLOYS!, & sports exhaust. Doesn't list prices but says these can now be ordered from your local dealer or Mazda customer line.

Presumably if you can now order these they must have prices???

4. It also has a small article on the pro-drive day which states that course will consist ot track, open road, hazard avoidance and use of their wet skid facility skid pan!!

5. Has nearly as many paged devoted to Formula women!!!!!!!!!

Not received a copy as yet, but I wait with baited breath.

As for accessories, there is a thread which includes some prices (although these were provided at the preview event I attended on the 7th July so may have changed) here (http://www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7406&highlight=accessories) .

This wa s an old thread I bumped to try & answer lucozade re Buzzer warning.

i think that the buzzer is much too quite it needs to be a load in your face deep buzz IMHO

Buzzer was just right for me ... seemed to hit something just right in the brain to make me change up. If it were louder I think I would be screaming at it after a few days of ownership
