Hey, if anyone has the space tyre kit and a digital camera... I'd love to see what it looks like because the picture on the brochure scanns is really poor...

I would not have believed it unless I did it, but the trunk is very deep, a lot deeper then you think. Wankeler 09-30-2003, 11:51 PM I'm an avid fisherman and thought I'd have to keep taking the beater (Lincoln Towncar) to go fishing since all I have are 1pc rods. Even with the spare tire kit, I was able to fit 3x 6'6" 1pc rods in my rx-8 with the spare tire kit in place. I unzip the cover, feed my rods through the spokes of the spare, and into the cabin.
