View Full Version : RX8 - Polo-Shirt
Dear All,
Have not seen much 8 talking now....Let's start One.
I'm trying to consolidate some pics like...RX8, Rotor Shape, ....
Going to customise a Polo-Shirt ...probably in BLACK. Not too much ....but just a few good ones.
ANY ONE INTERESTED???
Hope all of you are having "gun" on the gas....
BTW, I'm awaiting Amsoil (Engine Oil Maker) to provide some research & competition article to prove synthetic has been use in their races for rotary engines....
Cheers

Logowork for my own personal website (which never saw the light of day, sadly... might be revived one day though...haha)
actually was trying to find a nice pic of the RX8 to work on.... but lazy... :P
Hmm sounds interesting....will definately get one ...but must be XXL ok :D
BTW, what kindof oil you guys are using for your oil change?
Eugene
Fab 8 09-11-2003, 11:40 PM Sounds like a good idea.
UG, I'll be using the HKS rotary oil, 10W-40. Fairly expensive though but its suppose to be "low-ash" (from translation of the HKS website!)
I know Spyder is using the Mazda rotary oil while someone else is using Mobil 1 synthetic.
Hi guys...
Nice to see so many RX8 owners here.. but havent got a
chance to see it on the road YET... :D
Thinking of getting the RX8... any recommended PI??
Regards
Thanks Mockngbrd....But I've just looking at simple designs...Wanna make it simple....like the Race Crew wearing those types//

Mockngbrd 09-12-2003, 01:24 AM mmm....ok... :)
can i order one t-shirt too? :P
Fab 8,
Do you know how much Garage R is selling? And whether the stock is in already?
UG
Fab 8 09-12-2003, 03:25 AM UG, I understand Garage R's price for the oil is pretty close to the retail price listed in the HKS Japan website - thats abt $130 for 4 litres. The oil is in stock already.
We need more than 4 litres so probably have to get 2 cans. Leftover can be used for top up.
:(
u guys very tao lei...

Oops, sorry abt the non-reply, RSK! Hello and welcome!
As far as your question is concern, I initially thought you may get an idea of the PIs that we went to if you went through the posts!
Anyway, I bought mine off Garage R - they may not come across as the cheapest initially, but everything on the car is factory fitted originals, ie leather seats, Bose 9 speaker 6 CD changer etc.
Of course the rear glass had to be changed, and they used original Mazda glass while some others may use replica glass from elsewhere.
Best thing I find abt them is that they are honest, open and direct - no unkept promises. So yes, I am very satisfied with their service overall.
I will let the others chime in on their experience with other PIs.
Cheers.
Hi RSK,
As for PIs, I went to EZ. Need to keep them on their toes. The boss Kida is a nice guy. Hope this helps....

Mockngbrd 09-13-2003, 10:41 PM Ooo.. thanx thanx! :)
watch for an RX8 soon..... (though i haben start yet... haha)
Hi guys...
Thanks for the advice..
What about the transmission? 5MT or 6MT? thinking of the type S but think 5MT will be better in term of day to day driving.. any comment?
I got quote for the type S at $147 from HuaYang and $133 for the 5MT...
Regards
Fab 8 09-19-2003, 05:32 AM Well, the torque for the 5MT is slightly more, so shld be a bit better for town driving. But I have no complaints with my 6 speed. It is geared nicely so no issues on lack of low end grunt. Besides, shifting is such a joy on this car!
Don't forget you do get quite a lot more stuff with the Type S apart from the engine and gearbox, such as bigger brakes, 18" rims, sports suspension...
RSK,
If you need to get better perks from Hua Yang...let me know. I may be able to get you some if you have not signed yet.....Cause I know the the management....
Call me at M/P: 96889882....
