There is a 93 RX-7 for sale, but does not run.. Wondering how much it would cost (estimate) for this to run perfect??

Do I need to find out what doesn't work? The body is in good condition.. Person is asking 7500 OBO - Thanks for your input.

Depends.. prolly a good idea to get someone who has worked on FDs before to take a look at it.

It could be something like the map sensor just got disconnected, and the old lady that owns it doesn't know how to fix it. Or it could be that some high school kid ran an open exhaust on the stock ECU and fuel system and now both the engine and turbos are totally fucked... or something in between.

Find out and report back.

How much would it cost...how much work can you do yourself? To get the car running, and perfect, could be over 10K with labor costs, and, to me, that could be very a conservative estimate. The list of parts you could potentially need goes on and on. If you are serious, get a qualified rotary mechanic to look at it and go from there.

You need to find out if any mods, and if so which ones, have been done. If you buy it and it's heavily modded, good luck making it legal (depending o your state.) My brother '93 has over 15k invested in mods. It is sooooo not street legal,and hasn't been registered in over 3 years (won't pass Texas inspections). Something to think bout. Be careful, and let us know what happens.
