For those of you running Tein Stechs with a stock airdam or Mazdaspeed skirts....can you tell me the ground clearance for each? I want to run the stock airdam and Mazdaspeed skirts but I think I may have issues getting in and out of my garage =( My garage is lower than the driveway so there is a bump I have to clear when I pull in and out. Today I backed the car in to work in the trunk and I scraped either the bottom of the bumper or those little plastic flaps in front of the tires. It has me worried about scraping the airdam and skirts now.

 

if you scraped with those on, you will definately scrape the MS sides. just drive slowly at an angle.

 

Danomite, your car is the reason I want to do those mods. I have a pic of it as my wallpaper for motivation. Seriously, I think your 8 is the nicest looking 8 I have ever seen. I wish I had the blue so I could do the gold SF's.....just amazing! I have titanium with silver Axis Hiros that I will be mounting soon. I hope the silver looks good...I didn't like the anthracite because they dont' stand out.

 

yep, doing the skirts will definitely have you entering at angles and searching different entrances to places, mine hit stuff every now and then as does my nose, just something you can't avoid sometimes unless you drive stock height with a kit, which looks really really lame.
