I'm just curious about how many others on the forum bought the RX-8 in the same color combo as me: Titanium Gray with Red/Black interior. I've received tons of compliments on it, so I know I have good tastes. :D

I have the Tit/red & black, and I was concerned about the red inserts being too "boy racer" for my tastes but I think the colors really do compliment each other.

This colour combination is not available in the UK. We can only have red/black leather with either red or black paint.

That's a great choice and would have been my pick had I decided to get the car. I think the only reason I want an S2K (other than the vert part) is so I could have the dark gray with red leather interior :p

I agree, a nice color combo. Hey ike, if you want a S2K, may I suggest researching that car on their forum?

The TIT+RED/BLACK was my 2nd choice. I had a tough time deciding, but ended up with winning blue.

I also liked the NORDIC GREEN+BLACK/Chapperel.

I got the titanium, but it is all black. I was interested in the red/black interior, but we would've had to wait to long. My husband's work took away all their demo's (co. cars) so we needed it quick. We are planning on inserting gray suede in the same spots where the multi-color interior parts are on your style of car. I still haven't seen a titanium w/ red & black - do you have pics? We painted the calipers red this weekend. I think the red is a good accent on titanium.

There are a couple of pics in this thread (this one is mine):

Personally, I think those colors clash. Oddly enough, 3 of the first 5 RX-8's I saw were of this combination.

Certainly no offense intended to anyone who got the red/black leather, but personally I really can't stand it. I actually passed up getting an 8 on the spot and postponed a while to wait for one that didn't have that color combination on the inside. I ideally wanted a Ti with black leather, but ended up with black w/ black. No complaints though :)

Really?? Mine is red with red/black leather, and everyone seems to think it looks wonderfull! One guy said it looked like a show car. Well, to each his own, you really can not go wrong with black/black

No offense taken, and none intended by what I'm about to say: I don't understand why you even wasted your time and ours by replying to this thread. I was clearly not soliciting opinions on the Red/Black leather or the color combination with Titanium Gray, I merely asked who else bought this combo.

Yep same here, love the color combination, and if your getting leather, why not the two-tone!

Well, people were posting alternatives that they had ended up with to your color scheme. I was throwing my 2 cents in that I loved the titanium but not that particular interior. It wasn't intended as trolling post, nor an insult. Just an opinion. I could always ask why you wasted your time and mine by replying to my post, but.... we could always just let this pointless argument die :)

Nice car though. The titanium is a great color and if you love your interior then more power to you and I'm sure you'll have many happy driving hours.

Boy racer?????

If it looks good, it looks good. Why classify such details as "boy racer".

What does two toned leather have to do with "boy racer"?

By the way, I have the red/black leather.
