What Rims do You prefer?

I am an old school guy. Deep dish 5 spokes on a (RWD) smaller offest on the front. No chrome, no spinners (terrible), no bling bling.

Maybe if you pick some examples and post pics we can give you input. Otherwise, this question is wide friggin' open.

These arn't to bad either. I think they would look good on the 8... but thats about the extent of my taste for rims.

I prefer 5 spokes myself, played out or not. How about G-Games 99B? They look great, are lighter than OEM in 19", and are at the less expensive end of the Rays Engineering spectrum.

About as "played out" as blue jeans.

There's a reason that 5-spokers have continuing popularity... They're the best choice, and as in many other things dictated by design, and the best endure.

Rule #1- You don't want an even number of spokes.

Rule #2- 3-spoke wheels are for faeries and old Vipers.

Rule # 3- You probably don't want more than 7 spokes, as they are usually too formal or "busy" looking.

Ergo- 5-spoke wheels are more gooder.

Prefer the 05 stock rims. They are grey matte, not shiny like chrome. Anything that doesn't highlight scuffs.

Do you really want something that says "G-Games" right there on one of the spokes (and it's not like you can rub off the paint, it's molded in)? Doesn't get much more "rice" than that, man.

Only one guess allowed for what the "G" stands for in my mind....

Those two rims are nice... Yet I don't agree with Diablo, we all have our own tastes, I personally like clean rims.

You're absolutely right, we all have our own taste. But... having text molded into the spoke seems to be the antithesis of "clean".

In concept I like the 5-spoke (though split-spoke) design pictured above, but the allen heads in the wheel rim ruin it for me.

While I'm not crazy about the brand name molded into the spoke, I'm not sure "rice" is the appropriate term for it. Besides that, I really like the actual design of the spokes and the finish is a very cool silver (not very evident in the pic I posted, but search for forum member bigOLundh's car, he's got them and they are quite nice looking.

If it weren't for the logo permanently defacing the wheel, I'd be in love with them.

Worse than the fact that the logo is there, somehow, is that the logo is quite annoying to me. It would be bad enough if it were "BBS" or something, but the "G-Games" thing really rubs me the wrong way.

Oh, and I have seen pics of them without the G-games molded in too on the Discount Tire website, not sure if you can actually get them that way though:

Yeah "rice" may not be the right term...The design is real nice. As for the allen heads, if it is a true two piece rim (not a fake one) than it is fine with me. Even if they were one piece I still like the look of them.

I have the 19" G-Games 99b on my 8. I love the clean look. Also the gun metal color is great for not showing brake dust.

Rims with TPMS?

I haven't done a search yet, but are any of the rims mentioned here compatible with the TPMS? Are there any out there at all besides the stock rims (and maybe Mazdaspeed rims)?
