GMS, Gan MotorSports in Woodlands, they carry them.

Not too sure how well it will work on the 4AT, but TRUST have been doing R&D and making exhaust for the longest of times, so shouldn't be of any issues. :rock:

am using on my 6MT, it's light, it's loud, it looks nice too!!!!

I am using it on my 4AT ..no problem..instantly u gain 4hp...due to the weight....
FYI...every 3kg of weight you lose will give u 1 hp gain..
Trust Ti exhaust : 6kg (appx)
OEM: 18kg (appx)

And go to the TRUST website....its state that the TRUST TI exhaust is suitable for 4AT RX8...
Hence no worries.....BEST OF ALL ITS APPROVED....

I just contacted Gan again, since he no get back to me. He say $1995 is the best price, very hard to lower it as the MSRP is suppose to be $2400. He has already given the best price at $1995. He has about 10 sets left.

I assume after the installation, there will be an inspection by LTA. Approve = drive home with a smile. Not approve = curse and swear + new ornament(the exhaust) to be hang on the wall?

Trust and Knightsport is different. Trust have been approved for mass usage(is tat the correct term?).
Knightsport you got to get it approved for personal use. Write in and produce documents to lta. wait a few weeks for letter to come then go for inspection. It takes about a month to get approval. After all this then we boooooooom all the way home also.

I am on KS. Good enough for me in terms of sound and feel; trust is louder. Depends what u want.

Go for the meet ups and u can see and hear the actual thing.

Installed the trust exhaust last week. Initially was still debating whether to change or not. I did not regret my choice. The exhaust is cool! I luv the sound everytime i rev the engine. :ylsuper:

Just wanna share some infor. Installed Trust Ti 2 days ago. Happy!

First impression, looks good. (Red blue and yellowish exhaust tips and big bore that fits nicely on the stock bumper)

Then comes the sound. Cruising below 3000rpm, no significant difference (only a soft low pitch rumbling). But once the car accelerates, the exhaust changes from a bassy growl to the famous rotary scream! Nice!

Hope this helps those who's interested in this exhaust.

But i noticed a noticable drop in volume recently. It's only loud when I rev hard and fast and has a nice note when I drive leisurely.

Nope it is not the case of you getting used to it.

Rather it is the case that the ECU has finally learnt the optimal air flow for the trust exhaust and has adapted accordingly.

Either way gratz on getting the exhaust bud - it rocks!

I second that! Trust exhaust is the best mod i done to my ride so far! Installed it on the first day i get my car. No regrets.

I cannot comment on the performance cuz i have not driven with stock exhaust. So no benchmark. I install my trust exos like 2 hours after i collected my car.

Any Bros want to sell their Trust Ti?

Installed my Trust Ti a couple of weeks ago . I have no cat so it was fn loud to start with . I did notice a performance increase though so I was determined to keep it on and see if I could make it acceptable .
Have put a twin resonated midpipe on and have made some inserts to go in the tips to act like extra mufflers .
One annoying feature is the drone I get around 3000 rpm . Do you others with this exhaust have that issue also ?

The exhaust is light and maybe I can't feel any loss in the low end. I got the 'surge' forward that has been lacking in 4AT especially when I step lightly on the accelerator.

I'm a very statisfied customer as Gan is very friendly and helpful... even the mechanics are very helpful in answering my questions (just curious about where the extractor and the cat are...)

What do u mean by drone at 3000rpm? the sound changes after 3000rpm?

I don't have a cat on mine so it is very loud - there is a bad drone in the cabin from 3000 rpm through to about 3500 then it goes away

Yup. I lived at Hillside Drive. I still considering changing until the price of Civic Type r is right. If you happen to come across anyone selling Trust Ti, grab it first. Seldom people want to sell unless they change ride.

IMO, Trust is the best. The sound is great and it is light at about 6kg only (made of titanium). Best of all, it is LTA approved. There are only 4 LTA approved exhaust: Trust, Fujisurbo, Mazdaspeed and Apexi for RX8. All sound quite different from one another.

Gan Motorsports is the only agent for Trust exhaust. Fujisurbo can be found at mcwell, fongkim, Silent and other places. But it is best to buy used. You can post WTB: Fujisurbo.

Anyway, I'm quite in the dilemma of choosing between UK version or the JDM. JDM is cheaper and comes with everything (includes full bodykit, light weight rims, brembo brakes, sports exhaust, sports suspension, more hp, 4 doors very practical. It costs $99k compared to the UK's 106K. However, UK is very futuristic on its design, more comfortable than JDM (more for track) and is more of a car from pt A to pt B.

Hope they come out with a 5 doors type R UK ver.

if i were you i will take the uk model as its shape is different from the civic and more chio also...

UK: Less on the road, more exotic, You control the market, Slower

JDM: Faster, more parts available, spent more money.
