I am thinking of getting either a plastic or metal fender strakes for my rx-8.

Is is it worth to pay extra (almost double) for the stainless steel

Ill be making my own, something different, but id go plastic, worst case, you can take them to a coating place and they can chrome them for like 15 bucks.

get the plastic ones if you want to match them to the paint of your car.

I have the mazda OEM ones... i love em.

I have the Mazda OEMs, dealer installed, dont listen to others telling you it looks ugly just go with you heart its YOUR car, just dont put type r stickers on it lol
