If this is true, let's do a poll of users to find a trend on whether driving without DSC/TC will yield better fuel efficiency/performance. The poll would ask who has the base 6MT model and what is their mileage so far as all base models do not come with DSC/TC.
On Downshift's suggestion in the "HP and Mileage Prob Solved", I would like to ask anyone who owns a Base model RX8 (Base model OWNED only, please) to please post your average mileage per U.S. gallon of gas.
We would like to establish a baseline for gas mileage in non-traction controlled cars, in an effort to identify the potential for increases in gas mileage for DSC / TCS equipped cars with the system turned off.
This is an important poll for those of us with traction control systems, so your honesty when selecting would be most appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your participation!
EDIT, 9-9-2003: Won't you please participate ladies and gentlemen? There must be more than four Base RX8 owners out there lurking around on these boards.
