Awesome Deal on 2006 RX8 in Vegas?? or??

Hello all. I'm new to RX8 club and am looking for some of your wisdom before I buy. I'm considering this RX8 being listed at land rover Las Vegas for 26,950. Those of you that have purchased recently think this is a good deal? It only has 3200 miles and the PCM was flashed in Sep 06. Looks brand spankin' new.

seems a little high for used 8, i bought a brand fully loaded 06 GT MSRP was 33K and paid 27K, go to NADA.COM to get a ballpark on wholesale/retail value. Bet you can locate a brand new 06 RX8 for that kind of money LOADED, thats what I did...

it definitely is high for a used (even if it is low miles). have you checked edmunds.com for your area?

Thanks for the replies... I just found out it's a loaded GT, chrome wheels minus NAV and it's priced now at 23,950. Sounds good to me.

i still say it's high for a used. this should be the price if it were new. see if you can knock off a couple more thousand from that price.

23,950 is HIGH retail, I would guess somewhere around 22K they prob. took it in on trade and have about 21 to 22K in it. Like I said before, a loaded new 06 GT should go for about 27K that 3K under invoice. So a used with a few thousand miles should be a few K less. Unless they have too much money in it...

I agree, somewhere around $22500 sounds about right.

I bought my '06 GT at People's Mazda in Las Vegas back in May, about a month after they made it to the lot. It's pretty much the same car, same color, except I don't have the two-tone interior. The sticker price on mine was just a hair below $32,000 while the purchase price was a few thousand less than that. I would say $23000 for the mileage is a little high, only because you should be able to still get '06's, brand new, for a few thousand more more. I'll tell you from when I was looking back in May, the one thing I was very VERY wary about was there seemed to be a number of cars on the lot with under 5,000 miles. I walked off the lot with a brand new car rather than wondering if some shmuck drove the crap out of it without breaking it in first, so you could say spending the extra couple of grand may buy you a piece of mind.

I bought a new 06 MT Sport (HID lamps and DSC package) in April 06 for 24 and change. I hope this information helps you in making an appropriate decision for yourself.

How is it possible that such a great car is available for so little money? Clearly something is not right in the world.

Isn't 3,000 Vegas miles, like 30,000 colder climate miles?
