hey, I bent both of my left rims on my car.. Im buying 2 very cheap rims just to put on till I get my new ones... im just trying to find some really cheap ones on ebay....
what do they need to have to make sure that they fit.. theyd be 18" ... any certain offset or what? I just want to make sure if I buy any that theyll fit for sure.. my other 2 rims are the 18" stock rims...
Thanks

There has to be a story to go along with this question . . .

I just need my question answered... I don't really need to explain what happened... but I got cut off going down one of our main streets here, a guy coming from another intersection was turning right (had a red light) & didnt stop - he was in a truck, I swerved to the left to avoid hitting him, and I ran over a small curb on the left side of the car... and ruined those rims.. and I just need 2 rims to make the car drivable until I get my new rims...
Thanks

It would have to be: 18" (5x114.3) right?
What offsets would work? and I want to be sure the tires I have on my bent rims right now will fit onto these replacement rims.. so what would the width of the tire have to be?
Thanks

The tires that are currently on my Stock Rims would fit on 18" 5x114.3 with a tire width of 7.5 - right? Would they also fit on 7 or no? Thanks

Looks like nobody is responding.
I don't know what will or won't fit. But if you go to tirerack.com, they list a bunch of wheels that fit the 8, and give the width and offset. See what you can glean from that, and look for something within those dimensions. I'd be leery about putting stock tires on rims that were narrower than stock.

Stock rims are 18X8 +50 offset 5X114.3
Look for a couple of used stock rims...should be cheaper than trying to find aftermarket ones?

Might be cheaper to go aftermarket, in some places.

if you have a discount tire co or americas tire co in your area we have warehouses with used wheels and you might luck out.

basically all I want to know is if the current tires I have on my stock rims which I guess are 18X8 +50 offset 5X114.3...
The wheels im looking at are these:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=110073134941&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=001#ebayphotohosting
which are: 18X8 +35 offset 5X114.3
Im just wondering if the tires I have will fit on that without me having to get new tires too..
Thanks

The tires will fit. But I'd worry about the difference in offset. Unless you can get advice from someone who knows, be really careful about that.
Also, did the incident that damaged your wheels damage your tires?
I see you're in Orlando. That's a big enough place that you have a shot at finding a big tire/wheel dealer locally, like speedracer suggests. If you're still looking for something quick and cheap to tide you over, you might check out junkyards. Chances of finding an RX-8 are low, but wheels from some other Mazdas fit. Look through the Wheels, tires... forum here for info on that.
