What does everyone thinkabout the rotary accents? Im talking about the poilshed rotary symbols on the center of front bumper and between the exhaust pipes on the Rx8. I only have sports package so mine are just black and dont stand out like the polished ones do. I am thinking that the front and back of my Rx8 should be a little bit more flashy. I saw them on Rx8s w/apperance packages and I guess the polished accents do make the car a little nicer. Too manypeople have said to me they thought my car was an S2000 when only saw it from the front so maybe the accent would help. Do you guys think it is worth themoney? Can I get them for less than it would have cost if I bought the accent package?

The rotary accent package that you are refering to is nothing more than the front rotary accent and the rear rotary accent. (The chrome rotary shapes front & rear)

They are offered as an option like that and they are not connected with GT, appearance or any other option package. They are separate from any option package.

I don't think anybody doesn't like them.

What they are worth is up to your indiviual persective. The resale value of your car will not go up if you have them. You can take that to the bank.

You can buy them separately at www.trussvillemazda.com (parts department) ($54.60 front & $66.00 rear + shipping) or any other mazda dealer I guess. Simple-dimple to install, I'm sure.

Also if it's like a lot of cars you will be able to buy replica rotary accents for around $20 a piece in a few months. Maybe a little longer but it should happen eventually.

I talked to my dealer about them and they were $171 for both, so that's a great price! Too bad my wife doesn't like them (I might get them anyway :D ).

It should be a standard 140, all the cars I've seen at two different dealers charge 140...

If it's already installed on the car when you buy it, it's $139. You've seen it as an after-market part through a Mazda dealership for $140?

You are pricing accents for a car you do not own, at two different dealers? wtf!!

Or, maybe you did not price them, and are again trying to start trouble with a non existant price difference between dealers!!

I will say it again, 225 posts on a site for a car you do not own is just pathetic

When I was considering purchasing the car and looked at two different dealers the accents were priced at 140 and were installed on the car, it could have been 139 but that's close enough to 140 for me. :D

Are you kidding me?! I must have had over 400 posts here before my RX-8 finally arrived end of August. If you really mean that, then what of all the people who post here with no desire to ever own one?
