I am waiting for my Nordic Green to come in (hopefully end of October:( ). I could not find any good pictures of that color. Anybody got some in bright sunlight? I've heard that the color is nearly black....

I'm also waiting for my NG. I've seen several NG 8s at the dealer and the color changes depending on the light. In bright sunlinght it definitely looks dark green, but the closer you get to it you start to see a blue tint and the mica flakes in the paint sparkle in a variety of colors. In the garage where they'd just finished preparing a car for delivery it looked like a very dark blue/black. It's a really neat color.

I had seen her pictures and web site before. I thought they were kind of dark so it was tough to tell the color. Some of those others are much better. It looks like it leans towards a deep teal. I think I will love it as well. Looking forward to getting it :D

I never see this color at the dealer or around town, is there great interest in this color. I wish I could see more. Other than white it is the rarest color.

I checked out a few Nordics this weekend. Are all you Wankel nuts glad you got the green? I've seen every color at this point (except that elusive white), and I'm torn between the HOT looking red/red or the subdued, classy green/chaparelle. I think my wallet will be happier if I get the green (a.k.a less attention... fewer tickets).

Do you get a lot of compliments on it?

Elara = 'her' ... not 'his' :-)

Photos do not do this color justice. You really do have to see it in person to really appreciate it. During bright sunlight it certainly is a dark green. But as dusk approaches then it starts to look black. But there's a lot more metal flake in this color than any of the others, really looks sharp.

spasso, the pics with the flakes visible is very good- I haven't managed to catch them in mine yet.

I saw spypondtom's car yesterday. Not sure why they call it green. Unless 'Nordic' is latin for 'blue' :p I would call it medium teal. Awesome color!
