2nd oil cooler

Is there a need for a second oil cooler? I read this from the tech and specification tread for AT RX6. Please advice

Hi all, I have been reading this forum which i gladly stumble upon because I am head over heels in love with the car! I have yet to own the rx8 but hope to be one of the few elite drivers of the car next year.
I have a question...
on the topic of engine coolants, I actually went to test drive RX8 6MT from MM last month and the salesperson told me not to get from PI coz apparently there are a few incidents whereby the engines go bonkers because the PI cars only have 1 engine coolant (meant for euro countries) instead of 2 which is found only in MM cars (meant for hot climate like SG). Is that true? pls can someone enlghten me. Thanks!
I am seriously considering booking a RX8 6AT from a PI next March after CNY coz might drop then

A lot of PI RX-8s are running around in SG on a single oil cooler and I don't see them blowing up left and right. However, since there is space, it would definitely do your car good to have another cooler. dr11855i, since you are planning to get a 6AT, you should install an ATF cooler for your auto transmission. MTs should just get a high quality oil cooler.

ATF stands for Automatic Transmission Fluid. No idea how much an ATF cooler cost though, I drive a stick shift.
