comments? check out the japanese website

www.mazda.co.jp

under their RX8 section... theirs are not change...

so i believe the US RX8 is due to the emission regulation, it can't output as much power as the originally designed.

I alwasys complain that we don't have European Audi RS4 in the US; u complain we don't have Japanese Version RX8, LanEvo(jp version), Skyline, blah blah.... but have u ever think about this in the other way?

Have u seen Corvette Z06 in Japan? Viper GT? Must Cobra?

Markets are pretty much equal...

even saw an F50 running around the city streets.....

(on a side note, whilst in a rural countryside area (with farms and all) i saw a futuristic one seater electric powered car zoom past me while i was in a van... it made and interesting sound.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeee...... really cool)

Japan is a better place for not having many Mustangs. I swear, those bastards think they own the road............

So does this mean we can soon order a "replacement" ECU from Japan and the HP issue goes away??? :D

I have to agree with Mockngbrd, Japan is not that expensive if you know where to look. Those noodle shops are mighty tasty.

Beside if you are travelling to Japan, why the F*ck are you doing eating cheeseburgers?! You're in a foreign land, experience some of their culture.

bah, if you know where to look...unfortunately i don't since i'm just a tourist so everywhere i went was friggin' expensive...and the cheeseburger quote was from another person from work that just went there on business last week...he's like, $10 for a f*cking cheeseburger!"

if you're from a foreign land and you visit Chicago, do you know you're supposed to go to Maxwell Street for Polish sausages? of course not...you friggin' go to McDonald's or worse, Navy Pier...

I think I'd rather eat my joggers than McDonalds.

(you know they use naughty children in the beef patties...)

How many cheeseburgers your friend ate ?
Cheeseburgers (set menu) price is around $5 in Tokyo. (cheeseburgers and potats and drink)
but...I agree with the next words ....Evrything is expensive in Japan.
When I come to the Japanese-owners meets, I pay around $20 for Metropolitan Expressway of Tokyo (Highway), 100km.
and...once, I spent(drove) 3 hours and 30 minutes to Yokohama for 50km (around 32 miles) on that.
