I've searched the forums and tried to find a DIY on how to remove the old key in a retractable key fob and replace it with a new one, but I can't find a DIY on this subject. Could someone tell me how to do this....and pics. would be great if possible.

1) Swing the key out

2) Look in the slot where the key is when closed. There's a open area up near the key, then a little bit down there's a box with a little tab in it

3) Press in the tab with a screwdriver while pulling the key out. It will pop right out.
