I'd be surprised, then depressed, then consumed by unholy rage, then rest peacefully in the pools of insanity, and finally, I'd be hungry.

If something like that EVER happened to my 8 I would most likely go Postal on the entire place. Though afterward I'll just shrug it off and drive my 911............ :hahano:
Though this must be a embarassment for the father in law "Yeah son bring your car on down to my place I'll give you a great deal on your tires. Oh dont worry about my guys they can handle your car while we go out for lunch."

<LOL> hahahahahahahaha... J/K! but when u read what he wrote, he does sound a bit like a spoiled rich kid, if u ask me...

seriously though. that totally sucks and should never happen to anyone- period. wtf was goodyear thinking anyways? if i were him, i'd send his story to some tv news channel or something and make sure he not only gets his car fixed, but that they do something to make it up to him BIG TIME...

and, what's up w/ his bannana icon. is that ike's secret, hidden identity? lol j/k

That is a classic example of why you should always do at least one thing with any car you put on a lift: Put it a good foot off the ground and bounce it a little to see how stable it is. That and whenever you get a "special" car you've never dealt with before it helps to read ALL the instructions accompanying it.

The SAD thing is you do not have to get the car THAT high off the ground to change a #@$#@ tire!

Ill just ill. That'd so suck.

Wow! that really sucks!! I wonder if this is the same Elise I see almost every day on my way to the office.Probably not. He said it's not his daily driver.

The worst part is that he actually showed them in the manual the instructions for jacking up the car.

I was getting my tires put on, and I had to stop the guy that was about to use my aero flares to raise the car.

I would be sick to my stomach if that happened to me.

Isnt it amazing that we as "un trained professionals" know more about how to handle a car than the actual "pros"... WTF
