View Full Version : EOI - Eastern Creek Track Day 5th December
Gibbo 11-01-2006, 09:56 PM I am looking at people that are genuinely interested in a track day on Tuesday 5th December at Eastern Creek. I did a day like this last month with a group of 25 of us.
The day will be about $200 including lunch.
Following the success of the last day we did it looks like we will have the whole track to ourselves. We will probably have about 40 - 50 attendees. Everything from VW guys, Porsches, RX-8's, Mercs, WRX's etc.
It is a brilliant day with a lot of really friendly guys, I have done quite a few track and drive days with them before.
You get 20 minutes every hour on the track. There are 3 groups, first timers, intermediate and advanced.
Let me know if you are keen.
Cheers
Gibbo
Revolver 11-01-2006, 11:04 PM Sounds great Gibbo. :yesnod:
If I emerge unscathed from the Nationals I may be a starter.
Thanks for inviting us along.
For those who can't make the Nationals, this might be a good substitute...
Hey Gibbo
Has the date already been set and confirmed or are you just taking EOI's for that particular date?
If the former, then I wont be able to make it :(
Gibbo 11-02-2006, 03:34 PM The date has been set, we have been allocated the entire day just for a group that a couple of friend and myself organise.
There will be more days like this......so if you can't make it 2007 will hold more days.

NRVOUS 11-12-2006, 05:43 PM Hey Gibbo,
Should be a great day out, we already have about 20 registrations and we have a few guys from the VW forums expressing interest, a Turbo VW R32, a few GTI's.
Mad Merrick in the GT3 is in and all our Crazy Rx8 regulars
I trust your coming out with the 20" Bling wheels :mdrmed:
Might be an opportunity for some timed laps  .....keep you posted!
Cheers

dbrx8 11-13-2006, 07:42 AM Hey Gibbo I would mind a drive at the creek for that price!!
dbRX8 - What do we do now????
You could put me down for 2 spots actually as I have a mate with a hot nissan 200 who has the fever as well. :ylsuper:
NRVOUS 11-22-2006, 04:15 PM Hi Guys,
I've got a few people attending from interstate that have asked if they can share the driving on the day...I have managed to convince the event coordinator of charging per car and not per driver...........so if its any consolation you can aslo have your partner or friend experience a few laps if your willing to share your machines. :biggthump
Please register the details of both drivers on the booking form
NRVOUS 12-08-2006, 06:22 PM Thank you to everyone that made the day a success, BLOOD was entertaining us with that fantastic exhaust note at full throttle down the main straight. Overall had a great mix of cars, with the Supercharged 350Z & Turbo R32 Golf mixing it up with the 8's!
Gibbo since you missed this one, there's discussion about running a moonlight track day from 5pm-9pm in the New Year. ;)
I'll keep you posted on the dates! Have a safe Xmas break and see you in the new year!
Revolver 12-09-2006, 07:02 PM Sorry I missed that one.
Who took their 8's out that day? Full report pls.
