Hello RX8 enthusiasts- I come to visit from the NSX forums. We recently discovered a series of videos on YouTube featuring one charming Valet, having a little fun in one of our club member's NSX as he was parking it (reving engine, switching drivers, driving too fast in parking garage ect...)

Our guy is going to have a chat with the management.

Thing is, the Valet had a little MORE fun in an RX8 as you can see HERE (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZcogTL_GBDU)

As you can see the RX8 was treated VERY poorly by our genious parking attendant. :mad:

It's a shot in the dark, but I thought if there is a chance that RX8's owner could be found, it is a chance that should be given, so I am posting this here, the rest I leave to you...

it looks like a copper red one, has a front plate but you do not get a chance to see the number. looks like a few custom interior things too

I'm not aware of anyone within our group that has the copper red color. Isn't that only available on the Shinka version?

The NSX owner is on this already, he is taking all 4 vids from YouTube with him to the management of the establishment where this occured. There a vids of an NSX, RX8, LS430, and Audi A6?. I can't see the valet in question remaining employed, considering the treatment, and the fact that he shows his face (moron). They can't really take the kids job twice, so I guess it is moodt, but I thought if the RX owner is out there he/she might want to know...

Un f'n believable. I for one never valet. Second thing is that there's usually an unforseen bonus of running some aftermarket ECU. Rev limit to 3k or so and off you go...and they don't.

This is pretty ridiculous. Wherever that was, I'd demand more from the hotel/garage than just that guy getting fired. For the potential wear and tear, and longterm issues with my car, I'd have issues with them.

I noticed the TSC/DSC light come on a few times, but I couldn't make out the other 2 warning lights that are on. Maybe I'll look at mine later.

I went over to the NSX forum. The owner of the NSX knows where this was done and is taking action. There was no mention of where this was, but I have reason to believe it was a hotel.

I think that vid was posted by staticlag. That what it says at the begining of the vid.

Yea, you couln't see much detail on the car, its a longshot unless the NSX guys say what hotel it took place at.

I commented on the RX8 vid of his: "idiot"

and then he just found my ruger vid and posted that.

the camera guy was completely on a chair, if there had been a misfire it would have gone into a couple bags of newspapers.

While the video is irritating it is also quite funny... Its almost like he made a list of the things he needed to get on video to get properly busted:
-Take clear video of speed... check
-Make sure to show location of crime... check
-Get a clear shot of myself... check
-Do it again... check
-Make extra effort to get out of the car and video whole car... check
-Repeat... check

Glad you guys got the vids before he pulled them from his site.

Other then using up Tires, Brakes (from the DSC), and Clutch, It seems like the car would of been alright assuming the engine was broken in a little bit. The RX-8 is a sports car and should be able to handle driving around at 30 miles an hour.

But, He should be fired for being stupid.
