I was driving the GF to Evanston a few weeks back for her Grad class and somehow let my guard down and got tagged for speeding(First ticket in like 4 years!!). But the ticket they issued me is totally unreadable!
I got nailed in skokie, a few miles before dempster...anyone know th espeed limit there?
*EDIT* Yup in illinois, north of chicago, after the split.

I don't know about that specific stretch of road, but Illinois is a 65mph state.
Bastards.
I assume you mean Illinois, as you didn't specify except by city... And I94 goes through several states.

It's in an urban area so it should be 55 MPH. All though it could be 45 MPH. I don't drive on that section of road too often and when I do there is too much traffic. I just go with the flow.

On an INTERSTATE? I've never seen a speed limit below 55 on any stretch of interstate that I can recall.

It's either 65 or 55, but may be lower if there was construction there.

I am pretty sure it is 55 until you are very very far away from the city

I thought it was 55 as well. I believe there are signs that say 55 at least inbound on 90/94 but I havn't paid attention to speed limit signs since I got my 8.
